It is recommended that these conditions be treated by a series of 6 infusions over a 2-4 week period for best results. A discount is given if a series of infusions are scheduled. We suggest purchasing an initial treatment series (a total of 6) for $3000 ($500 per infusion). Maintenance treatment typically involves a single 1 hour infusion and frequency varies with each patient.
Mood and Pain Disorder Infusions
These infusions are designed for those patients who suffer predominately from a mood disorder yet have a coexisting pain syndrome. These infusions last approximately 2-hours and typical recommendations are for 6 infusions over a 2-4 week period. The number and frequency of infusions will vary depending on your particular condition. A single ketamine infusion for mood and pain cost $750. A discount is given if a series of infusions are scheduled. We suggest purchasing an initial treatment series (a total of 6) for $4200. ($700 per infusion). Maintenance treatment typically involves a single 2 hour infusion and frequency varies with each patient.

Chronic Pain Disorder Infusions
For chronic pain conditions (migraines, CRPS, neuropathic pain, phantom-limb pain, cancer-related pain, and fibromyalgia) longer infusions (up to 4 hours) are required because they are more difficult to treat and require higher dosing. The number and frequency of infusions will vary depending on your particular condition. A single ketamine pain infusion cost $1150. A discount is given if a series of infusions are scheduled. We suggest purchasing an initial treatment series (a total of 6) for $6,600. ($1100 per infusion). Maintenance treatment typically involves a single 3-4 hour infusion and frequency varies with each patient.
Additional hydration (1000cc) of Lactated Ringers or 0.9% Saline are included with these infusions.
InSURANCE INFORMATION
Presently, most insurance companies do not cover ketamine infusions for the treatment of mood and pain disorders. Ketamine is being used as an "off-label" drug. Ketamine infusions are not FDA-approved for the treatment of depression, anxiety, PTSD, or chronic pain. Unfortunately, because ketamine is now a generic drug, there is little financial incentive for drug companies to conduct the large trials necessary for FDA approval despite recent research showing its effectiveness.
